The Toronto Raptors and Brooklyn Nets start a series of two games in 24 hours on Monday and the Nets will be left without two important elements in the first game.

Starring Kevin Durant will not be able to return as he struggles to recover from an injury to his left knee.

Durand, who has not played against New Orleans since Jan. 15, could return “later this week,” according to the Nets, but it is unclear if it will be Tuesday in the second game against Toronto.

The 33-year-old “KD” has an average of 29.3 points and 7.4 rebounds per game after 36 games this season.

It was also agreed that Kyrie Irving, Joe Harris and Ben Simmons will miss Monday’s game at the Barclays Center.

The Raptors (32-27) are a game ahead of the Nets (32-29) in seventh place in the East.
