Wiggins and Thompson lead for Warriors, Jokic leads again for Nuggets

Andrew Wiggins and Klay Thompson led the warriors against the wizards. A lead from Nikola Jokic and a win for the Nuggets against the Heat.

The Golden State Warriors defeated the Washington Wizards 135-126 at home and moved past losses ahead of the Blazers and Lakers.

Andrew Wiggins was particularly productive, scoring 29 points (12/22 shooting), along with 7 rebounds and 4 assists. By 27 points, though, he missed from the perimeter (4/13 three-pointers) Klay Thompson, who looks set to face his NBA champions for the first time in back-to-back matches after his return to the action following the dangerous Clippers and have then 9 days off due to All Star break. Good performance by Donte DiVincenzo with 17 points (5/8 threes) and Kevon Looney with 13 points and as many rebounds.

Of the Magicians, Kristaps Porzingis and Bradley Beal stood out with 34 and 33 points respectively.

The Nuggets went to Miami without Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon but won thanks to two-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokic, who had 27 points, 12 rebounds and 8 assists. Michael Porter Jr. followed with 17 points (5/13 threes) and 6 rebounds.
