The Triple Challenge is an All-Star Weekend tradition. There, the best shooters in the league challenge each other in search of the grand winner, who will write his name on a list full of figures throughout history.
The 2023 edition in Salt Lake City It will not be the exception, as it will have big names that, in turn, will follow the new regulatory details implemented in Chicago 2020, with a new, more distant and higher value launch area.
How do you compete?
Five stations with five balls are located in five different positions (corners, center and 45°) around the three point line.
Four of the rails/stations will have four official NBA balls and one colorful, or “money ball,” that will be released after the other four.
Official balls are worth one point and colorful balls are worth two points.
The fifth station/shelf will be full of colorful balls, worth two points each. The player will choose the position in which to place the “money ball” rack.
Repeating the innovation of 2020, two new launch sites called ‘The MTN DEW Zone’ will be added, located approximately two meters behind the triple line, between the central carriage and those 45°. there will be one green ball worth three points.
Each competitor has 70 seconds to throw the 27 balls (or as many as they manage to throw in that time). The maximum score will be 40 points.

Milwaukee Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo He gave a harsh response to the question about a possible trade to another NBA club:
“I’m here. Don’t ask me that question. It’s disrespectful to me and my teammates. I wear this jersey every day.
To say I don’t want to be here is disrespectful to the organization, the coaching staff, myself and everyone who worked hard to get me on the field. Don’t ask me this question. I am her. I’m going out in this uniform. And as long as I’m here, I’ll give it my all until the last second of the match.”
On the night of December 27-28, Antetokounmpo returned to the field after his calf muscle injury and became the most productive player of the game with the Chicago Bulls – 112:103.
