Tonight’s NBA Results: Celtics Plunge Victory, Clippers Double in Houston
The Celtics came back from -17 and pulled off a big win over the Hawks in Boston while the Clippers left Houston with a double against the Rockets. Hardly the Wizards are the Pistons.
With Tatum in the lead, the Celtics pulled off a big 107-98 win over the Tre Young Young Hawks to get back in the game at -17. The Boston team rose to 37-27 in the season and “spoiled” the excellent performance of Yang, who finished the game with 31 points. The Hawks, on the other hand, now fell to 29-32.
Top scorer for the Celtics was Tatum with 33 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists, while Williams and White were evenly matched with 18 points.

Rockets – Clipper 100-113
The Clippers had a relatively easy night in Houston, exiting the game with the double and beating the Rockets 113-100. With that win, the Clippers went 33-31 on the season while the Rockets saw their record drop even further (15-46). This was the Clippers’ fourth win that they even went 2/2 against the Houston team.
Top scorer for the winners was Zubac with 22 points and 12 rebounds while Morris added 18. In the Rockets, Green had 20 and Wood had 17.

Wizards – Pistons 116-113
The Wizards had a difficult 116-113 home win over the Pistons and went up to 28-33 this season. The Pistons, on the other hand, fell to 15-47 in a year that isn’t going the way they would like. First scorer for the winners was Kuzma with 21 points while Bryant had 16 points. For the Pistons, Grant stood out with 26 points and Cunningham with 20.
