Kevin Love officially joins the Heat
Kevin Love’s move to The Heat is complete and Miami announces the acquisition of the former All-Star forward.
Kevin Love was taken off the sit-down list after his contract was terminated by the Cavaliers and joined the Heat, confirming reports of a deal.
The 35-year-old forward saw several teams coming his way, but Miami was the team that gave him the role he wanted him to play. With this addition, the Heat hope to solve a major problem that has haunted them since the start of the season: the long shot.
This season, Love averaged 8.5 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.9 assists with 35.4% on three points in 20 minutes of participation in the Cavaliers jersey.
