Spectacular performance from the Bucks, who also defeated the Heat (128-99) for their 13th straight win. A month unbeaten Milwaukee in which Giannis Antetokounmpo was injured for the third straight year.

The Bucks have found themselves in an incredible position over the past few weeks, beating the Heat 128-99 at the Fiserv Forum for their 13th straight win, which is also the widest this season. The Milwaukee team has been undefeated since Jan. 23 and is running the best streak in the NBA, but faced Giannis Antetokounmpo injured for the third straight game and hopes to eventually play a full game to gauge the roster ahead of the playoffs .

The Stags went up 42-17 (25-5 home and 17-12 away), with the Greek freak having 4/4/4 in 6:28 before leaving with a right knee problem. All-Star Jrue Holiday (24 points, 5 rebounds, 7 assists) was delightful, Bobby Portis returning from injury and scoring a double-double (18 points, 11 rebounds in 22 minutes), Khris Middleton filling in his stats, Jae Crowder made a positive debut, as did Magers Leonard, who is on a ten-day contract and stepped down after two years.

Mike Budenholzer’s team made 19 3-pointers and remains in the hunt for first place in the East, just behind the 43-17 Boston Celtics, with whom they are tied 1-1 and have another matchup.

The Heat fell to 32-28 (19-10 home and 13-18 away) which continues to disappoint this season. They’re currently outside the top 6, which leads straight into the playoffs, with Erik Spoelstra seeing Jimmy Butler-Bam Adebayo play solo against everyone. Tyler Hero was badly off, Kevin Love didn’t score on his debut with the Miami team, 9/40 threes were a poor performance and the switch rarely gets flipped before the playoffs.

The Bucks showed determination early on, amassing 42 points in the first quarter and winning all four. Their dominance was very easy as Mike Budenholzer used all 13 players at his disposal. Pat Connaughton and Wesley Matthews were out, with Jevon Carter (4/17 shooting, 8 rebounds) coming in the starting XI and playing 33-28, more than anyone else. 29 minutes were needed by Holiday, 28 by Allen, 27 by Lopez, 22 by Portis, 17 by Middleton as the game against the Phoenix Suns follows in 39 hours.
