Tatum executed the Sixers with a dunk in the final, Embiid’s three-pointer was broken from one basket to the next
Incredible stuff in the Celtics-Sixers, with Jayson Tatum giving Boston a 110-107 win with a three-pointer and Joel Embiid hitting a late basket-to-ball shot in the Finals.
The Celtics saw the basketball gods smile and defeated the Sixers 107-110 in Philadelphia thanks to Jayson Tatum’s 3-pointer by 1.3 seconds. Philadelphia saw the basketball gods smile at them, a…half second late after Joel Embiid hit a back-to-back shot right after, but it was too late!
In the craziest final of the season, the Celtics proved smarter, happier and most importantly on time, celebrating a great win over a Philadelphia that was proving to be a tough nut to crack.
Jaylen Brown was the top scorer among the winners with 26 points, while Tatum and Derrick White both gained 18 points.
For the Sixers, Embiid had 41 points and 12 rebounds, James Harden had 21 points (but 5/16 shooting) and Tobias Harris had 19 points.
