BEFORE THE MATCH
The Toronto Raptors will try to continue their dominance over the Orlando Magic on Friday night as they play their fourth game in five nights.
The Magic have lost each of their last eight games in the regular season to the Raptors, their latest success dating back to February 2019.
In total, the Torotonians have won 28 of the last 33 duels between the two duels.
Nick Ners’s team will try to dispel the bitter taste left by the 108-106 defeat by the Detroit Pistons on Thursday at the Scotiabank Arena.
Against Detroit, Ners was without OG Anunoby (finger), Fred VanVleet (knee) and Thaddeus Young (virus).
In the case of Anunoby, we now know that the one who had surgery on the finger of his right hand could be absent for up to two more weeks.
From those who would like to see a better performance against the Pistons, we can easily think of Gary Trent Jr., who managed only 4 of his 23 shots, including 3 out of 15 from the three-pointer.
