NBA’s best players and coaches of the month named
Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic and New York Knicks quarterback Jaylen Brunson were recognized as the NBA’s February players at their conference.
Jokic played in 11 games in February, averaging 22.6 points, 14.2 rebounds and 10.2 assists. The Nuggets won nine games and lost three in February.
Brunson averaged 27.3 points, 6 assists and 4.3 rebounds. The Knicks have nine wins and two losses.
Top coaches at the conferences were Sacramento Kings head coach Mike Brown and Milwaukee Bucks head coach Mike Budenholzer.
Brown’s team had eight wins and four losses in February. Budenholzer’s wards have been marked by victories in all 10 matches.
Sacramento is third in the Western Conference standings with 36 wins and 25 losses. Milwaukee tops the Eastern table with 45 wins and 17 losses.
