Mamukelasvili to Spurs
Sandro Mamukelasvili will continue his career at Spurs after San Antonio took him off the waiver list and even converted his contract to a guaranteed one.
Sandro Mamoukelashvili is now part of the Spurs squad. San Antonio took the Georgia forward/center off the waiver list after the Bucks decided to terminate his two-way contract.
Mamukelasvili has signed a guaranteed contract with Spurs, the Texans said, but details of the deal were not disclosed.
This season, Mamukelasvili averaged 2.4 points and 2.3 rebounds in 9 minutes with the Bucks (24 games – none as a starter). However, with the Spurs, it’s possible he could get game time at both senior positions as a backup to Jeremy Sochan and Zach Collins.
