Heat beat Hawks, key wins for Wolves, Cavaliers

The Heat showed character against the Hawks, winning, led by Adebayo, 117-109. Cavaliers party with Pistons, wins for Wolves, Raptors and Rockets.

The Heat have had just one win in their last seven games. They had no place to lose the game against the Hawks, however, and prevailed 117-109, in a game where they even reached +21. That puts them a little distant from the Hawks in the battle for seventh place, as they have a 34-31 record against Atlanta’s 32-32 and always keep an eye on the 6th Nets (35-28).

Bam Adebayo with 30 points and 11 rebounds led the heat with Tyler Hero adding 20 points and Jimmy Butler and Caleb Martin each adding 15 points.

For the Hawks, Sadiq Bey had 22 points, DeAndre Hunter had 17 points, and Clint Capela had 16 points and 13 rebounds, with Dejude Marie finishing with 10 points on 3/14 shooting and Trae Young with 8 points on 2/13 shooting.
