He also added 10 rebounds and three assists as the Lakers won. After three quarters, James already had 40 points.
James’s 56 points is the 3rd best in his career.
Russell Westbrook also scored 20 points in the LA win
The Lakers were five points behind in the fourth quarter, but James and his teammates scored 35 points to overtake the Warriors.
Stephen Curry scored 30 points in the defeat by Golden State.
