That this is the highlight of the season and the third-best offensive night of his life is somewhat…small, ahead of other statistical accomplishments affecting the NBA as a whole.

You see, according to ESPN, LeBron became James:

  1. The oldest with 55+ points and 10+ rebounds
  2. Fourth at age 37+ with 50+ points in a match (along with Michael Jordan, Coby Bryant and Jamal Crawford)
  3. The first Los Angeles Lakers player after Shaquille O’Neal (1999–20) with 55/10 in a match

For the record, in terms of oldest player with 55+ points and 10+ rebounds, this is a spike that until a few hours ago belonged to Michael Jordan, who at 33 years and 19 days had 53 points and 11 rebounds (7th March 1996).

How much does LeBron James cost? 37 years and 65 days!
