With Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic averaging 62 points, the Mavericks narrowly defeated the Jazz 120-116 to climb to 5th place in the West.

The Mavericks are still searching for an identity after adding Kyrie Irving. Still, they found a way to earn a narrow win over the Jazz, winning 120-116 in Dallas.

Irving’s 33 points (17 of which came in a crucial fourth quarter as Dallas pulled away on an 8-0 run 115-108) led the winners, with Luka Doncic adding 29 points and 10 rebounds and Tim Hardaway leading 24 points on 7th /9 3-pointer.

For the Jazz, Lauri Markkanen had 33 points and Taylen Horton-Tucker had 21 points.
