Sabonis threw a party against the Knicks, a big win for the Kings

With Domantas Sabonis hitting another triple-double, the Kings beat the Knicks 122-117 and remain in second place in the West with a 39-26 record. Important victories for Pacers and Jazz.

Domantas Sabonis did the… Familiar, DeAaron Fox did his, and the Kings defeated the Knicks 122-117 to remain 2nd in the West (shared with the Grizzlies) with a 38-26 record.

The Lithuanian star was unstoppable with 24 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists, with Fox adding 23 points and Malik Monk adding 19 points.

For the Knicks, who came back from -21 and saw Jaylen Brunson out – again – with an injury problem, RJ Barrett had 25 points and Julius Randle had 23 points (but 8/22 shooting) and 10 rebounds.

Pacer – Rockets 134-125

The Pacers had a rough time against the Rockets after blowing an 18-point deficit. But in the end they won 134-125 even in overtime and stayed alive in the hunt for a place in the eastern play-in tournament.

Tyrese Halliburton with 29 points (12 of them in overtime) and 19 assists led the way for the winners, with Myles Turner adding 21 points and 7 blocks, Jordan Nowora 18 points and Buddy Hield 17 points.

With the Rockets, Jabari Smith had 30 points and 12 rebounds, Jaylen Green had 24 points (but 8/23 shooting), and Kenyon Martin had 23 points.

Magic – Jazz 124-131

The Jazz have started winning a little more…rarely scoring the 2023 NBA Draft. Against the Magic, however, they decided to get serious and took the win 124-131 in Orlando and stayed in play-in orbit in the west, even if it’s not like that… that’s their goal.

Lauri Markkanen’s 31 points led the winner, Taylen Horton-Tucker added 23 points and Simone Fontecchio added 17 points.

For the Magic, Paolo Banquero had 26 points and Markelle Fultz had 25 points.

The Hornets have had more good times than bad lately. The Pistons have had bad moments…all season. The meeting between the two thus had the expected outcome, with Charlotte winning 103-113 in Detroit.
