Triple Jokic saved the Nuggets the night in overtime
With Nikola Jokic hitting a triple-double, the Nuggets struggled to earn the overtime win over the Pelicans 138-130, moving up to 38-26 for the season and sixth in the West.
The Nuggets didn’t have an easy night against the Pelicans, but Nikola Jokic carried the team on his back Triple-double (46 points, 12 rebounds, 11 assists), earned a big win over the New Orleans Fighting Team, 138-130. The Nuggets are now 38-26 on the season and sixth in the West, while the Pelicans fell to 27-37 and 10th.
In the Nuggets, of course, the Serbian star from Denver led, just as good and decisive were Aaron Gordon with 28 points and Monte Morris with 18. In the Pelicans, Brandon Ingram had 38 points while CJ McCollum had 24 points.
