Embiid would not have lost their top 10 lead no matter what Porter did

Joel Embiid’s game-winning off-balance shot remains undisputed in the NBA Top 10 of the day. Neither Porter’s spike nor Jokic’s baseball return for a buzzer beater threatened him.

Joel Embiid ran alone in the race for Friday’s top 10 NBA games. In the game against the Blazers, when he hit the Sixers’ game-winning shot by 1.1 minutes, and especially the way he did it, the Cameroonian center didn’t really have a matchup.

In any other case, Michael Porter would have rounded the top. But not now. After all, it would be unfair. Not even the flamboyant and precise Nikola Jokic was able to dethrone Embiid with a rare putback that earned a Murray buzzer-beater.
