Surgery for Iguodala, unknown when he will return
Bad news for the Warriors as Andre Iguodala is injured again and will undergo left wrist surgery with no word on when he will return to action.
A disappointing season for Andre Iguodala has just taken another blow. The 39-year-old guard/forward suffered a broken left wrist and is undergoing surgery, though it’s not yet known when he will be back on the pitch.
Iguodala extended his off-season contract with the Warriors at the last minute after contemplating retirement. However, he missed the first 39 games of the season due to various injury woes and has played sporadically ever since to protect himself as it’s an open secret that Golden State wants him fresh for the playoffs.
This season, Iguodala is averaging 2.1 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.4 assists in 14 minutes of play while he has only played in 8 games.
