The Warriors continue to look to the player market to add depth to their periphery. And according to The Athletic’s Sams Karania, they’ve turned their attention to Tairik Evans, whose two-year sentence has just expired.

The veteran guard, who has already gone through a process with the Bucks, is a player who – before being ousted from the NBA for two years – had proven he could work as a second creator as he was a Regional of the size and Ability to play is in all three locations of the region. He’s still a long way from showing all of that, of course, but Golden State seems to be wanting to see if there’s anything else in…Evans’ tank.

Evans was drafted #4 in the 2009 NBA Draft and won Rookie of the Year honors in the 2009-10 season. During his career, he has worn the jerseys for the Kings, Pelicans, Grizzlies, and Pacers, with career averages of 15.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, 4.8 assists, and 1.2 steals in 31 minutes of attendance.
