The Grizzlies completed the playoffs after Morad’s return, a key win for the Heat

Stepping out on the ground for the first time since his suspension ended, Ja Morad was one of the Grizzlies’ leading players in the 130-125 win over the Rockets that mathematically secured Memphis’ playoff presence. The Heat def. the Knicks, key wins for the Sixers and Blazers, a comeback with winning goals for Karl-Anthony Towns.

Ja Morad returned after serving his suspension for the gun scene he presented LIVE on Instagram and together the smiles returned to the Grizzlies who went through with the Rockets 130-125 to become the 5th team ( after the Bucks, Celtics, Sixers and Nuggets). which mathematically secured his presence in the playoffs and secured the Southwest title.

Jaren Jackson was the winners’ leader with 37 points and 10 rebounds, with Desmond Bane adding 20 points while Morad came off the bench and had 17 points in 24 minutes.

For the Rockets, Jaylen Green had 32 points, Kenyon Martin had 31 points, Alperen Shengun had 25 points, and Kevin Porter had 14 points, 10 rebounds and 10 assists.

Wolves – Hawks 125-124

Karl-Anthony Towns bottomed out after almost 4 months. And he would be the one to decide the win in the game between the Wolves and the Hawks as Minnesota took the win with their own shots 125-124 and stayed in the game to qualify for the playoffs.

Naz Reed led the winners with 26 points, with Jaden McDaniels adding 25 points, but without Karl-Anthony Towns (22 points) Wolves would have won not only because of his shooting in the final but also thanks to the aura of his return after an absence from 52 games.

For the Hawks, Trae Young had 29 points (but on 6/16 shooting) and John Collins, DeAndre Hunter and Sadiq Bey had 16 points each.

THE DODECALPTA: 39-40, 67-62, 94-97, 125-124

Bulls – Sixers 91-116

Entering Chicago without James Harden, the Sixers saw Joel Embiid play only the first half due to a right calf problem. Still, they had no problem destroying the Bulls 91-116 in a game where they even led by 31 points.

De’Antoni Melton led by 25 points, Tyrese Maxey added 21 points and Tobias Harris added 20 points.

For the Bulls, Kobe White had 19 points and Zach LaVine had 16 points while DeMar DeRozan was limited to 4 points on 0/7 shooting in just 21 minutes.

THE DODECALPTA: 23-36, 48-76, 76-96, 91-116

Heat – Knicks 127-120

The Heat earned a narrow 127-120 win over the Knicks and are now with a record of 40-34… just a breath away from 6th place and the Nets (39-33) in their bid to jump straight into the playoffs to come and avoid the play-in in the west.

Jimmy Butler led with 35 points, Tyler Hero added 22 points and Gabe Vincent added 19 points.

With the Knicks, ARJ Barrett had 26 points, Jaylen Brunson had 25 points, and Austin Grimes had 22 points.

THE DODECALPTA: 31-32, 64-61, 92-86, 127-120

Jazz-Blazers 115-127

The Blazers know they now have only a mathematical — and not a realistic — hope of catching the West’s game. Regardless, they fought back against the Jazz and eventually took home a 115-127 win in Utah, keeping their low hopes alive.

Damian Lillard with 30 points and 12 assists led the way for the winners, with Shendon Sharpe adding 24 points, Trenton Watford 21 points and Jusuf Nurkic 20 points.

For the Jazz, Lauri Markkanen had 40 points and 12 rebounds and Kris Dunn had 15 points.

THE DODECALPTA: 34-29, 56-68, 88-91, 115-127

Birds of Prey – Pacers 114-118

Canadian rookie Andrew Nebhardt made his career debut in Canada. And he was the one who executed his team after leading the Pacers to a 114-118 win over the Raptors in Toronto.

Nebhardt started in the absence of Tyrish Halliburton and had 25 points and 10 assists, with Myles Turner adding 16 points and Benedict Mathurin adding 15 points.

With the Raptors, Pascal Siakam had 31 points and 10 rebounds, Fred VanVleet had 28 points (but on July 22) and 11 assists, and Jacob Peltle had 23 points.
