The Mavericks’ matchup with the Warriors is expected to have a third part as Dallas plans to appeal to the NBA over a crazy third-period play for a Golden State basket at the weirdest part of the season.

The Warriors beat Dallas 127-125, but the Mavericks don’t intend to let that loss slip away. In fact, they will appeal to the NBA, and the reason is the strangest phase of the season that caused them to take a light nail.

Here’s the background: The game took place in the 3rd quarter when the Mavericks called a time-out thinking they had possession. But the referees changed their decision and – according to the Texans – did not inform Dallas.

Result; When the game restarted, the Mavs players were on the offensive. But the refs had already passed the ball to the Warriors on the other side of the floor, with Kevon Looney receiving Jordan Poole’s assist and scoring in the strangest phase of the season!

At the moment it is not certain what exactly the Mavs will ask with this appeal and whether they want the game to be repeated. But since they lost by two points in the end, all scenarios are currently open.
