On Saturday, March 25, Shams Charania of The Athletic reported that the Trail Blazers “They’re leaning toward sitting Damian Lillard out for the last 9 games of the season.”

Charania added: “The franchise is seriously considering taking precautions” with Portland out of the playoff race in the West.
