Durand trolled Sixers friends: ‘It was very quiet at the end, we couldn’t hear Simmons scream’
Kevin Durand insisted on teasing the Sixers after the Nets’ comfortable win in Philadelphia, saying that it was very quiet on the pitch at the end and he didn’t see Ben Simmons being insulted by the fans like he did at the beginning of the game heard agree.
The Nets made…a save in Philadelphia and broke the Sixers 129-100, causing home fans to pause at one point and then congratulate Ben Simmons, whom they originally…cursed at the dance. And that’s what Kevin Durand said in response to a question he received.
The Nets star was once called out to comment on the entire situation that had arisen on the court – and not letting him play – as a result of Simmons returning to Philadelphia, with Durand not missing the opportunity to troll Sixers fans.
“He (ss Simmons) knew we were covering for him. But it was nice to close the whole field until the middle of the game.“The Nets star said at first then added:”Towards the end of the game it was very quiet and we didn’t hear the Sixers friends say anything about Ben Simmons. “Maybe we listened to the Nets’ friends more than the Sixers in the Finals.”
