Ebid – Antitokunbo in a titanic bout with LeBron as an observer

Only 0.02 points (!) separate Ebid and Antitokunbo on the way to the top scorer, LeBron James also follows at a short, reversible distance.

The struggle at the top of the Eastern Conference is surreal, with the Heat leading 44-23, the Bucks 42-25, the Sixers 40-25, the Bulls 40-26, the Celtics 40-27 and the Cavaliers along 38 -27.

With about 15 games remaining for the regular-season finals, the six appear to be stuck while the Raptors, Nets, Hornets and Hawks follow from afar while the battle for regular-season honors is just as hot. From this one for MVP to those for top defender and top scorer. And especially in the goal-shooting part, the duel between Joel Ebid and Giannis Antitokoumbo, which LeBron James closely observed, developed into a titanic fight.

Looking at league leader sites from NBA.com to ESPN and Basketball Reference, the Sixers center and Bucks forward lead at 29.7 points per game. However, the truth is a bit different as the two superstars are separated by a difference of 0.02 points (!), while LeBron James is 0.40 and 0.38 points respectively and it’s not out of the question that when he enters the fight for the title, first place will be even more dynamic. He’s having the most productive season of his career from 2009/10, he sees the Lakers struggling to survive so will be under pressure, he’ll play a lot of minutes and by mid-April he could be the race winner.

Joel Ebid has scored 1573 points in 53 games (29.68 per 33.1 minutes).
Giannis Antetokounbo has 1661 points in 56 games (29.66 per 32.8 minutes).
LeBron James has 1376 points in 47 games (29.28 per 37 minutes)

The situation appears to be a little more favorable for the Bucks as they play games with the Warriors (out), the Jazz (out), the Kings (out), the Timberwolves (out), the Bulls (out), the Wizards (in) have), the Grizzlies (outside), the Sixers (outside), the Nets (outside), the Clippers (inside), the Mavericks (inside), the Bulls (outside), the Celtics (inside ), with the Pistons (outside) and with the Cavaliers (outside). They have a tough, very demanding program, they’ll be vying for first place in the eastern region, they’ll be competing next month in preparation for the playoffs, and they’ll pick up the pace while they’ve been moving…idle the regular season.

For their part, the Lakers are 28-37 and ninth in the West. The Clippers are well ahead (35-33), the Timberwolves even further ahead (38-29), while behind them are the Pelicans at 27-39 and the Blazers and Spurs coming out of the top ten. When LeBron James is under pressure, he can score thirty and forty points, but he’ll certainly need management like Ebid towards the end of the regular season, just before the play-in tournament where he has to pick up two wins fit in the playoffs for eighth against the champion Phoenix Suns.

DeMar DeRozan (28.1 points per game), Luka Doncic (28 points per game), Trey Young (27.8 points per game) and Ja Morand (27.5 points per game) complete the top 7, with Steve Carey on top 10th place (25.8 points) . per game) and James Harden in 19th place (22.5 points per game).

Nobody can guess who will be the top scorer at the end of the season. Only estimates can be made, but one thing is certain. Giannis Antitokoumbo is the only one chasing all three awards (MVP, DPOY, 1st goalscorer) as Ebid claims two and LeBron claims one.
