The NBA has fined Thanasis Antetokounmpo for slapping Blake Griffin in the face
A one-game suspension against Thanasis Antetokounmpo for scoring against Blake Griffin.
The Bucks will be without Thanasis Antetokounmpo when they host the Sixers early Monday morning (4/3 at 3:00 a.m.) as the NBA announced it has fined the Greek forward for his push against Blake Griffin.
The two players had a moment of suspense in the 85″ before the final of the Bucks vs Celtics duel when Griffin committed an unsportsmanlike foul and Thanasis responded with a kick to be thrown out of the game. It was another episode in the tension between the two teams, but also in tensions that have existed for years between the Boston player and Antetokounmpo.
