Heat, butler bend unlikely Doncic and Mavericks, Dallas in distress
The Heat were excellent, beating the Mavericks 129-122 thanks to Butler’s 35 points and putting Dallas in even greater trouble where a shocking night by Doncic (42 points) went awry.
The Heat faced the Mavericks without Bam Adebayo. Still, they found a way to earn a 129-122 win and move one step closer to seventh place in the East while leaving the Mavs in 11th place in the West.
The impressive Jimmy Butler with 35 points and 12 assists led the way for the winners (who even hit +18 in the second period), with Cody Zeller adding 20 points and Max Struss 18 points on 6/9 3-pointers.
For the Mavericks, Luka Doncic has done wonders with 42 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists, Tim Hardaway added 31 points with 6/10 three-pointers and Kyrie Irving added 23 points, but with the defense…beat them from all over, where she could claim nothing more.
