Morris: ‘I don’t want to hear from Jokic, he did what he did and it’s over’
Markif Morris, upon his return after 4 months due to his injury from Nikola Jokic’s beatings, stated that the Serb never asked him how he was doing but was not even interested and said he had moved on.
Markif Morris is back on the floor 4 months after his neck injury from Nikola Jokic’s punch and one thing remains constant: he doesn’t want to hear anything from the Serb.
The dynamic striker was asked in his statements whether Jokic approached him after that scene and clarified: “No…I haven’t heard from him and I don’t want to hear from him. He did what he did and it’s over.”
When asked if he still holds a grudge against Jokic, Morris said: “I didn’t sleep for the first two weeks because I was thinking about what happened to me because for the first time in my career I didn’t say anything. But I went ahead. it took me a while
My grandfather called me several times and told me to keep going because that would be best for everyone, and I did. “It’s been a long time since I’ve been back in training and I’m grateful to be back in the sport I love.”
For the record, the only way to get the two players back on the same floor is for the Heat to meet the Nuggets in the NBA Finals, as the two teams have already met twice this season.
