The spectacle of the NCAA Women’s March Madness Tournament has come to an unprecedented conclusion. The LSU Tigers came away with the ring after defeating Caitlin Clark’s Iowa Hawkeyes 102-85 in Dallas to capture their first collegiate national championship. Now that women’s basketball is in full swing, it is the It’s time to turn the spotlight on the WNBA.

Other big names in contention to turn pro this year include: Diamond Miller (Maryland), Hayley Jones (Stanford), Mandy Siegrist (Vilanova), Alexis Morris (LSU), Lou Lopez Senechal (UConn), Grace Berger (Ind.) and Brea Beal and Zia Cook (South Carolina), to name a few other potential champions.
When is the WNBA draft? Day and time
- Date: Monday, April 10
- Program: 7:00 p.m. Eastern United States (+1 in Argentina, +6 in Spain, -2 in CDMX).
The 2023 WNBA Draft It will take place at Spring Studios in New York.same place as last year.
Prior to the Draft, players invited to attend the facility will have the opportunity to visit the Empire State Building and participate in a special orange carpet ceremony.
The 2023 WNBA preseason will begin on Friday, May 5, and the regular season will do so exactly two weeks later on Friday, May 19.

The 2023 WNBA Draft Series
The Indiana Fever has the #1 for the first time in franchise history after winning the Draft Lottery in November 2022. Behind them are the Minnesota Lynx at No. 2 and the Dallas Wings at No. 3, who traded with the Atlanta Dream.
The remainder of the first round, as well as the second and third rounds, were determined in reverse order of the regular season records from the previous season. All teams will have at least one pick, and the Lynx and Wings have the most, with five each. The only franchise with only one pick is the Los Angeles Sparks.
