The New York Knicks were tough to take but had no antidote to Kevin Durant, who scored 51 points and led the Brooklyn Nets to victory (110-107) at the Barclays Center.

Ben Simmons is caught off guard, Kyrie Irving is ineligible, but as long as Kevin Durand is around, the Brooklyn Nets feel safe. “KD” put on an incredible performance on the night of Sunday, March 13, leading Steve Nash’s team to a home win over the New York Knicks at the Barclays Center (110-107) and their third straight win.

Yes, the home side’s attack was predictable and one-dimensional, but at the same time, the visitors’ defense had no way of stopping Brooklyn’s “heavy artillery,” who scored 53 points and did (almost) everything on the way to victory.

An example of his confidence was Evan Fournier’s French-style trash talk in the third period, but also the way he approached the New York basket. Somehow the night ended with 53 points (with 15/24 two points, 4/13 three points and 11/12 shots), 6 rebounds, 9 assists, 2 steals and 5 errors in 42’55” involvement, with Andre Drummond to follows in terms of productivity with 18 points (at 8/8 two points and 2/5 shots) and 10 rebounds.

As for New York, branding Kevin Durand was a monumental failure. Whoever… took on that responsibility failed miserably. Julius Randle (26 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists), Evan Fournier (25 points), and RJ Barrett (24 points) were the only ones to score in double digits, as were those battling for the KO final. But in vain…
