Gary Trent Jr. and Fred Van Wlit are questionable cases for Wednesday night’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers.

Trent is recovering from symptoms of a disease not related to COVID-19.

VanVleet lost the last game against the Denver Nuggets with a prolonged injury to his right knee. He played in Monday’s game against the Los Angeles Lakers, but lost six of his team’s last nine games.

The 28-year-old averages 21.1 points, 6.8 assists and 4.6 rebounds per game this season.

OG Anunoby (broken finger) is also likely to miss the game, while Malachi Flynn is officially out.

Dinwiddie plays the heroes

Spencer Dinwiddie scored a three-point shot on the bell against his former team, giving the Dallas Mavericks a 113–111 victory over the Brooklyn Nets.

Dinwiddie scored on the pitch with nine seconds left in Boston on Sunday and came back strong after Kevin Durant gave the Nets a one-point lead with a three-point shot in 10 seconds.

Luka Doncic finished with 37 points, nine rebounds and nine assists in the Mavericks’ eighth win in nine games. Dinwiddie scored 22 points, including 15 in the fourth quarter.

Durand had 23 points, 10 assists and six rebounds, but Brooklyn saw their four-game winning streak end. Goran Dragic scored 21 points for his career this season and Bruce Brown 17 points.

A day after watching Kyrie Irving’s 60-point performance with 60 points in his career against Orlando, the Nets were left without their star, who has been banned from playing in New York due to COVID-19 health rules.

Carrie is hurt

Golden State Warriors star guard Stephen Curry was injured against the Boston Celtics. He left the game with pain in his left leg, the team said.

The Celtics won 110-88.

Curry injured his foot at 4:17 of the second half, when his foot was hit by Marcus Smart of the Celtics, as the two of them were fighting for the ball.

After getting up, Carrie tried to relieve the pain. He then returned to the bench during a timeout that followed, but instead of returning to the field, ran to the locker room.

Curry finished the game with three points.
