Super Wolves paved the disappointing Lakers
Terribly, Wolves defeated the Lakers 124-104 and earned their 10th win in their last 11 games against an LA who suffered their 3rd straight loss.
Wolves are in the best phase of their modern history. The Lakers… not so much. Their clash in Minnesota saw the “Wolves” break up the LA team 124-104 and continue their upward trajectory in a match that even reached +25. At 41-30 the Wolves record, at 29-40 the Lakers.
Towns with 30 points (including 16 in the fourth period when the Lakers bench reduced the difference to 4 points) was the winner’s leader, with Anthony Edwards adding 27 points and Patrick Beverly adding 18 points.
For the Lakers, who now have 16 losses in their last 21 games, LeBron James had 19 points (but 8/21 shots), Carmelo Anthony had 16 points, and Russell Westbrook had 15 points.
