Celtics crush Warriors at Golden State, concern for Carrie
Undaunted, the Celtics defeated the Warriors 110-88 at the Golden State, earning their 6th win in their last 7 games. Carrie was injured and left, a concern for the Warriors.
The Celtics confirmed their period of form (and) in the Golden State, trailing the Warriors 88-110. The latter don’t even care about that defeat as they care about the condition of Steph Curry, who left in the second half with a left leg injury when Marcus Smart fell on him.
Jason Tatum and Jalen Brown each had 26 points for the winners, with Smart adding 20 points on a night when the Celtics got away 48-32 in the first half, they even hit +24 and withstood the Warriors’ counterattack to take their 6th to achieve victory in the last 7 games.
At Golden State, Jordan Poole had 29 points and Clay Thompson had 18 (albeit with 8/24 shots, 1/11 of which were three points), while no other player had a double-digit score.
