John made explanations wearing a t-shirt with a verse from “According to the Gospel of John.”
Giannis Antitokoumbo decided to change his language in the press conference after defeating the kings after he appeared in a t-shirt that contained a verse from “According to the Gospel according to John” referring to the Son of God.
Giannis Antitokoumbo led the Bucks to a 135-126 win over the Kings, then decided to send his own message to the press conference in a different way: he wore a T-shirt with a verse from “According to John the Gospel.”
In particular, John wore a t-shirt that read “John 3:16,” in a clear reference to the Gospel of John Chrysostom, which reads: “God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.”.
