With Steph Curry and Klay Thompson averaging 56 points and Draymond Green adding another 21 points, the Warriors showed their class in Game 5 in Sacramento, beating the Kings 123-116 and taking a 3-2 lead.

The Warriors did what they do best: they won. Golden State showed the heart of a champion, beating the Kings in Sacramento 116-123 in Game 5, leading the series 3-2 and taking the title at home in Game 6!

After a regular 11-30 season on the road, Golden State made history: They won their 28th straight playoff road game (a record in NBA history) and showed the — superb but inexperienced — Kings that the heart of a Champions cannot be underestimated.

Steph Curry with 31 points – and a game-ending big basket and foul in the final – led the Warriors, with Klay Thompson adding 25 points, Draymond Green 21 points and Andrew Wiggins 20 points. However, the unsung hero of the champion was Kevon Looney with 4 points, 22 rebounds and 7 assists.

For the Kings, De’Aaron Fox (playing with a broken index finger on his left shooting hand) had 24 points (but on 9/25 shooting) and Domantas Sabonis and Malik Monk had 21 points each.
