An apologetic Yes Morad said after the Grizzlies were eliminated by the Lakers in the playoffs that the entanglements he had with the law derailed Memphis, adding that he needed to grow up.

The Grizzlies were defeated by the Lakers (125-85) in Game 6 of the series and were eliminated from the playoffs despite having home field advantage. The countdown for the next day has already started. But no player on the team feels more responsible than Ja Morad.

I have to make better decisions. My off-pitch issues have affected us as an organization. I need to be more disciplined” Morad first explained in an apologetic tone, only to add:

I think my problems were bigger off the pitch than on it. I have to make better decisions. I have to concentrate more on the pitch. to be the leader of the team. It starts with me I know that no matter what I do, my team-mates will follow me.”
