With Booker and Durant scoring 86(!) points combined, the Suns defeated the Nuggets 121-114 in Game 3 in Phoenix to end the series 2-1. Incredible night from Jokic, with a terrible triple-double with 30 points, 17 rebounds and 17 assists.

The two losses in Denver left the Suns with their backs against the wall. In Phoenix, however, they are not afraid of anyone. Even without Chris Paul. They showed that clearly, beating the Nuggets 121-114 and withstanding whatever Denver threw at them to reduce the series to 2-1.

For all of this to happen, Devin Booker and Kevin Durant had to do legendary things beforehand, scoring 86 (!) points together. Booker stopped on 47 points (on 20/25 shots, including 5/8 threes), on 39 durants (although on 12/31 shots), with…a set of 9 rebounds and 8 assists in a night that no other Suns player had scored more than 7 points.

In the Nuggets, Nikola Jokic had incredible stats with 30 points, 17 rebounds and 17 assists (but also 6 fouls), Jamal Murray had 32 points and Michael Porter had 21 points and 12 rebounds. None of that was enough for Denver, however, as it came back from -16 in the second half and brought the game to a point in the fourth quarter. Not when Booker and Durant were together on a night like this.
