Stephen Curry said he is confident he can return from a sprained ankle when the Golden State Warriors start the playoffs.

The two-time NBA MVP wore a white boot on Sunday as he spoke to reporters for the first time since leaving the game Wednesday after clashing with Boston’s Marcus Smart.

With 12 games left in the regular season, Curry was asked if he thought he would be on the floor for the Warriors’ first playoff game.

Carrie walked awkwardly in his boot on Sunday. He said he did his best in the room with the weights to stay in shape. He hopes to return to the field by next week, but added that a careful approach is needed.

Warriors are third in the West.
