Williamson uploaded a VIDEO of him holding the ball between his legs
A few days after the Pelicans announced that Zion Williamson was out for the season, the dynamic forward uploaded a VIDEO showing him throwing the ball onto the board, then receiving it and passing it between his legs before throwing it nails which shows he’s in a good possibility.
The Pelicans have announced that Zion Williamson will not play this year and will lose the entire 2021-22 season as his recovery from his injured right foot has not gone as well as they would have liked. A day later, Williamson wanted to show in his own way that he was fine.
After months of generally keeping a low profile on social media and making no statements, the explosive forward uploaded a short VIDEO to his Instagram Stories showing him throwing the ball onto the board and then saluting it by throwing it between his feet and nails.
The timing chosen by Williamson is certainly interesting and can be read in two ways: 1. He wanted to expose the Pelicans, with whom his relationship is not the best. 2. He wanted to show the world he was on the right track and take care of reassuring everyone. The truth is, of course, that … the one does not negate the other, since perhaps he wanted to show, or anyone interested, that they are fine.
Anyway, this particular VIDEO definitely put a smile on some people’s faces.
