LeBron James will not play Wednesday’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers due to pain in his left knee, the Los Angeles Lakers announced.

The Lakers’ next game will be until Sunday in New Orleans, giving James six days to rest his knee.

It will be the 19th game that James loses this season. James has had a number of health problems since joining the Lakers. He lost 27 games last season and 27 games in his first season with the 2018-19 franchise. In 2019-20, however, James lost only four fights.

James, 37, scored a hat-trick against the former Cleveland Cavaliers team on Monday and is currently leading the league with an average of 30.0 points per game.

The Lakers (31-41) are ninth in the West.
