NBA, Golden State Warriors: End of season for James Wiseman
James Wiseman’s return to action got a new extension after the decision not to play this year. The goal is to be ready by the start of next season.
Almost a year after his right knee injury, James Wiseman has not returned to action. And as Adrian Voinarovski revealed on the night of Friday, March 25th, the young center will not step onto the floor this year.
The 21-year-old tall man underwent a second operation earlier in the year after developing a new problem at the same site, initially it was thought he would be ready for the postseason but in the end it was decided not to push .
The investment Golden State has made in his face is huge and isn’t limited to just a few minutes playing in the playoffs in pursuit of the title. The Warriors folks are looking ahead and have decided to keep him in the “Box” for the rest of this season to give him as much time as he needs to feel strong again and ready to enter the rotation .
