Tray Young scored 33 points, Danilo Galinari added 25 and the Atlanta Hawks remained to beat the Golden State Warriors 121-110 on Friday.

Clay Thompson finished the game with 37 points, including a season-high nine nine-pointers, and Jordan Poole scored 24 points for the Warriors, who have lost four of their last five games.

A first quarter of 42 points was not enough for the Warriors, who saw the Hawks take the lead in the last three quarters.

Golden State, third in the West, came out of a win in Miami on Wednesday before faltering against the Hawks. Atlanta, tenth in the East, had lost two of its last three games.

A three-pointer by Kevin Huerter increased the lead and Young followed with a three-pointer to make it 119-100 for Atlanta and stop the game with 53.7 seconds left.

Yang’s job gave Atlanta its first double-digit lead with 84-73 in the middle of the third quarter.

The Warriors were without two-time MVP Stephen Curry, who is treating a sprained left leg. Injuries prevented striker John Collins from helping the Hawks. Guard Bogdan was also on the sidelines.

Atlanta has won 15 of its last 18 home games.
