The Cleveland Cavaliers’ Evan Mobly will miss Wednesday’s game against the Dallas Mavericks due to an injury to his left ankle.

Suffering from a sprain, he may need to miss more.

Mobley was injured Monday against the Magic in the first half. Wanting to block a shot, the seven-legged player was injured when he came in contact with Franz Wagner.

Mobley found it difficult to return to the locker room and did not return to the race.

Seventh in the East, the Cavaliers (42-33) prevailed 107-101. They already have 20 more wins from 2020-21.

Ranked third in the draft last year, Mobley is a NBA Rookie of the Year nominee.

In 67 games he averaged 14.9 points and 8.3 rebounds.

The Cavaliers are seriously injured as they play Toronto and Chicago to avoid the qualifying tournament.

Center Jarrett Allen will also be absent against Dallas. He has not played since March 6 due to a broken middle finger in his left hand.

Razon Rondo has been sidelined for eight games, resulting in a sprained ankle.

Collin Sexton, Ricky Rubio and Dean Wade will not play again this season with a knee injury.

Caris LeVert and Lauri Markkanen have also been missing for a long time this season.
