The legendary 56ara by Trey Young and the great record
Watch the VIDEO of Trey Young’s show when the Blazers lost the Hawks in Portland (136-131), where he finished at 56 points and 14 assists.
Trey Young did great things against the Blazers. Unfortunately for him, it turned out he didn’t have enough help and Portland eventually celebrated defeating the Hawks at 136-131.
However, Yang was unstoppable and finished the game with 56 points (NBA record for this year) with 10/14 two points, 7/12 three points, 15/15 shots, 4 rebounds, 14 assists and 4 errors in 37 minutes of participation while he had and +10 in the +/- system.
Young was only the fourth player in NBA history to finish a game with +50 points and +14 assists, something only Nate Archibald (twice), James Harden and Wilt Chamberlain have achieved in the past, but also the sixth player in the history of the league, which finished the game with +55 points and +10 assists after Michael Jordan, Oscar Robertson, Tony Parker, Russell Westbrook and James Harden (3 times).
