The Clippers have released Eric Gordon
Eric Gordon is free on the market after the Clippers decide not to keep him in Los Angeles, thus saving a lot of money.
Eric Gordon will be a free agent from now on after the Los Angeles Clippers decided to let him go because they didn’t want to give him the $21 million his contract called for for the 2023-24 season.
Gordon joined the Clippers through a trade with the Rockets (where he’d been since 2016) and the Grizzlies last February and played with them in 22 games, averaging 11 points (42.3% from three), 1.7 rebounds and 2. 1 assist.
This was Gordon’s second stint with the Clippers, having played for the Los Angeles team for the first three years of his career, from 2008 to 2011. Now at the age of 34, Gordon is looking for the next step in his career.
