ESPN did not allow Adrian Voinarovski to become a free agent
A multi-year expansion with ESPN has been signed by Adrian Voinarovski, with Athletic’s Sams Sarania now considered the best free-agent reporter of the summer.
A few months before his contract expired, Adrian Voinarovski burned the scripts. Rumors that millions of dollars would be spent on the top NBA reporter’s feet were dispelled when ESPN issued a press release announcing that it had signed a multi-year extension to keep him in his family after five years of good working relationships.
Voinarovski joined ESPN from Yahoo, with his “student”, Athletics Sams Sarania, now set to be next summer’s hottest free agent. If of course his contract expires and he doesn’t sign an extension. For the record, Woj’s annual earnings are estimated to exceed $1.5 million.
