The Hall of Fame Committee announced the members of the Class of 2022, with the notable names of Manu Ginobili, Tim Hardaway, George Carl and Radivoi Korats.

The name of Manos Ginobili dominates the Class of 2022 Hall of Fame list, announced by the committee a few months after announcing his candidacy. An honor that arouses particular interest because the Argentine was chosen by the American rather than the World Committee, a mark of respect he has earned thanks to his great career.

Ginobili was one of the pillars of Spurs’ model team in the 2000s and 2010s and was one of the sixth-best players of all time. With the “Spirounia” jersey, he won 4 championships, was named an All Star twice (2005 and 2011), was a member of the 3rd Best Five in the NBA twice (2008 and 2011) and was named sixth player of the year once (2008).

However, Ginobili became legendary through his successes with the Argentine national team, with whose jersey he won the Olympic gold medal at the Olympic Games in Athens (2004) and the bronze medal at the Olympic Games in Beijing (2008) as well as the silver medal at the 2002 World Championships in Indianapolis .

The rest of the list includes Tim Hardaway (5-time All Star), George Carl – the second most successful coach in NBA history after Greg Popovic, who surpassed him a few weeks ago – and Del Harris. From the side of a world committee the great Radivoi Korats was anointed.
