Lonzo Ball will not take the field in the 2023-24 season, and the Chicago Bulls managed to secure the $10.2 million disabled exception that the NBA is offering for such cases.

Lonzo Ball will remain on the pitch for the entire 2023/24 season following third left knee surgery. Somehow the Bulls asked them out and got them from the NBA Disabled Exception reaching $10.2 million.

With this amount, the Chicago team can trade in a player who is in the final year of his contract, sign an athlete on a one-year contract, or acquire a player who has been released by another team in the league.

As for Ball, the 25-year-old Bulls point guard has not stepped on the floor since January 2022 and fears that his career could end prematurely and ingloriously are palpable. THE Ball has averaged 11.9 points, 5.7 rebounds, 6.2 assists and 1.6 steals per 32.5 minutes in 252 games and his current contract with the Bulls expires in 2025.
