NBA, Brooklyn Nets: Ben Simmons doesn’t even get the play-in tournament
Ben Simmons is far from ready to play as Steve Nash announced Monday April 4 that the left-hander will not count for the remainder of the Regula season and Play-In tournament.
The Brooklyn Nets traded Ben Simmons almost two months ago, but are yet to wear their jersey. The issues he’s facing have long kept him in the “box,” with Steve Nash saying on Monday, April 4 that he’s not tied into the Brooklyn Nets’ commitments immediately.
Specifically, he explained that despite more intensive training, the left-hander will not be counted for the last four games of the NBA regular season and play-in tournament. Once Brooklyn makes the playoffs, there’s usually hope that he’ll play in his jersey this year.
