The worst case scenario has been confirmed for Australia who will play without Joc Landall at MundoBasket due to the dynamic center injury in the friendly against South Sudan.

From the moment he twisted his ankle in the friendly against South Sudan, things were looking bad for Jock Landhal. Australians were clearly pessimistic about his participation in the MundoBasket. And unfortunately, the bad news has been confirmed.

The Rockets center won’t ultimately support the Boomers at the Worlds because he hasn’t had time to recover from his injury. He confirmed the news himself via Twitter, writing: “I sit there in the morning knowing that the baby boomers are getting ready for Japan and I blame myself for not being with them.

Everything we built and went through to prepare was destroyed 12 hours before we left and that sucks. Good mood is always required. My focus now is on supporting them and preparing for the new season with the Rockets.”

After the loss of Landal, the Australians’ 12th team was closed, which will consist of the following players: Xavier Cooks, Dyson Daniels, Dante Exum, Josh Giddy, Chris Goulding, Josh Green, Joe Ingles, Nick Kaye, Patty Mills, Duop Rith, Mathis Tybull, Jack White.

It is recalled that the Australia was drawn into the 5th group (that of Okinawa) along with Germany, Finland and Japan.
