Tonight, Kairy Irving’s debut season
At 2:30 am in Indianapolis, Kairi Irving will have his first appearance this year with the Nets and will only play in the away games of the Brooklyn team.
For the first time in the 2021/22 season, Kyrie Irving is not on the NBA injury report as he traveled to Indianapolis with the Nets and will face the Pacers in the game (2:30 a.m.).
The 28-year-old point guard remains unvaccinated, which means he can only play outside of Brooklyn’s away games (excluding New York), though there seem to be other restrictions in cities like Washington to limit its spread that are now ubiquitous.
Last season, Irving had 26.9 points, 4.8 rebounds and 6.4 assists per 34.9 minutes, with 56% on two points, 40% on three points and 92% on shots. It remains to be seen whether Steve Nas will put him in the starting XI or keep him in the role of sixth player.
